Loading Your Equipment
Professional, Reasonable, Reliable
West Coast Movers
They can load or unload your equipment as well! Whether that's a U-haul truck you're renting for a cross country move or a Big Steel Box you need unloaded on your driveway, RC MOVERS has you covered. Though, since this isn't their equipment, there are rules to cover before they get started and what legally RC MOVERS covers when it's not one of their vehicles.
Insurance and Damages: RC MOVERS does carry insurance in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan but it is important to note that they typically address issues that arise in a faster and easier solution if they're able. This would be through discounts on your move, paying out of pocket or fixing the item themselves, or another solution. This is due to having a quick solution and not waiting weeks or months for Insurance to come through. All we want at the end of the day is for our clients to be happy with their movers and to have a good moving day.

Loading Your Equipment:
RC MOVERS will treat loading your equipment the same way we would treat the day if we were doing the full move ourselves. Unfortunately, what often can be blamed on the moving company, can actually be blamed on the incorrect moving materials to load the truck (e.g, moving blankets). After RC MOVERS is finished loading your equipment, they are not responsible for damages that occur after the crew has left your residence and/or property. (Example: RC MOVERS loads a U-haul in Okotoks to be driven to Saskatoon by another party. A few days later, the client notices a damaged coffee table in the truck during unloading in Saskatoon. It was likely damaged during transit, since it wasn't damaged when RC MOVERS left the residence in Okotoks. Thusly, RC MOVERS can legally not be blamed if the items were not damaged when they left the property in Okotoks.)

Unloading Your Equipment
RC MOVERS will treat unloading your equipment the same way we would if they were unloading one of their trucks. Unfortunately, most damages to furniture being unloaded can happen in transit to the unload location or by packing incorrectly at the loading location from a secondary party. (Example: Our team shows up to unload a C-Can on your driveway into your new house in High River. Halfway through the day, our crew member notices a broken desk because it had shifted during transit. This can not be blamed by RC MOVERS, legally since we didn't load your equipment.)

Moving Blankets and other Equipment:
RC MOVERS has over 150+ moving blankets, carts, drop sheets, and other items to help keep damage to a 0% rating. Unfortunately, most rental trucks or Rent-A-Bin won't have them or won't have them to the best standard. Therefore, the client must provide proper quality moving blankets and/or equipment if needed. If their crew assesses the blankets and/or equipment as inadequate, they will inform you of such and refuse to load/unloading your equipment unless a written form is signed where the client agrees if any damage happens to anything loaded or unloaded by RC MOVERS, it will not be the responsibility of RC MOVERS.
