RC MOVERS carries wardrobe boxes on the truck that you are welcome to borrow the day of your move. Otherwise, we have standard dollies, blankets, and drop sheets to protect your floors and furniture, no
matter where you're moving. We like to think each piece of furniture or item gets at least one blanket, making it well over 100 blankets in some moves. Everything we need is on the trucks, and is part of our
base price when booking with RC MOVERS.

your new destination, leave your vehicle in the hands of RC MOVERS. Whether we put it in the truck or
drive it behind the truck, your vehicle will be safe and sound no matter how far you're moving. When it
comes to moving long distance, trust RC MOVERS at your service.
Estimates
RC MOVERS charges free assessments in the Okotoks area and Calgary area up to 100 kilometres outside
of Okotoks. Fuel is charged after 100 kilometres for estimates, with a rate that can be discussed via call
or email. You're also welcome to send us a list or pictures to r.c.movers99@gmail.com or to our cell
phone at 403-861-9520. This option is preferred if you live outside of Alberta and you're moving to
Alberta, since we can't come to your door and do an in-person estimate.
Hourly Rate
RC MOVERS charges an hourly rate from when they leave the yard in Okotoks to once they return to
the yard at the end of your job. Other fees will include hotels, ferry costs (if necessary), permit costs
(if necessary). Please note that our long distance charges out of the Province are final prices and can
depend on the location you're going to. (Vancouver Island will be more expensive than Edmonton)
Labour Only
If you've just moved to Okotoks or the surrounding communities, welcome to the area! In this case, you
may have brought a bin or U-haul full of items and need help unloading or loading if you're on your
way out. For this, RC MOVERS will only help if you have adequate amount of moving quality moving blankets and equipment necessary to do it right.
Storage Options
If you're moving from the Okotoks area, RC MOVERS will likely load your home on the first day and
start their drive to your new location on Day 2. Especially if you're moving to Vancouver Island. Our
company will not charge to hold your items over each night separately from the bill. Sometimes, you
need to be out of your house and can't be into your new house for a few days. RC MOVERS will store
your furniture in the truck for up to three days between moving dates before other charges will apply.
